Alison Myers is a caring, enthusiastic, skilled and completely non-judgmental therapist.

Her practice focuses on providing innovative and effective treatments for children, teens and adults. Knowing that each client is unique she tailors her approach to make the biggest possible difference in achieving each client’s goals.

Alison also believes in delivering high value. She continuously assesses the progress of therapy to make sure that treatment is staying on course, maximizing the effectiveness of therapy. Alison earned a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a certificate in Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University in California. She is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She has also attended numerous additional professional trainings on treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Alison continuously seeks to learn about innovative treatment techniques to stay on the forefront of her industry.

Professionally, Alison has had the privilege of working with clients in a wide range of settings including community clinics, schools, the justice system, and psychiatric facilities. She has successfully worked with clients with a wide range of issues.

She specializes in working with children, teens, and adults with a variety of issues including grief, anger management, depression, anxiety, chronic illness and pain, trauma, low self-esteem, lack of purpose, relationship conflict, and difficult life transitions.

Alison also has a Master’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of South Florida which makes her knowledgeable and sensitive to larger cultural and societal issues
that can be affecting clients. These issues include multicultural issues, societal pressures and expectations in gender roles.
